Logos and Rhema
"For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you." — 1 Peter 1:23-25 Gracious Lord Jesus, my friend and my King, I have been born again, not of a seed that perishes or becomes corrupted over time, but from the imperishable seed of Your word (logos) which lives, endures, and abides forever. I am like grass and any glory I have is like the flowers of the field. I will one day wither and fall, but the word (rhema) of the Lord will never fade, wither, or fall. Your word endures forever.
