"I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you." — Luke 10:19 Gracious Lord Jesus, my friend and my King, I suspect most believers don't accurately comprehend nor operate in the authority we possess. If I understand this verse correctly, you have made an exchange with your disciples, and by extension also to us today. Your disciples have given you their faith and belief in you as Messiah. You have given your disciples Your authority and victory over Satan and his demons. F.B. Meyer said, "If you dare to live in the risen Christ, you share His empire and all the fruits of His victory over Satan." In Christ, I have his authority to trample on demonic spirits, not merely tiptoe past them.
